Roko Vušković, prof.

He was born on August 27, 1992 in Zagreb. In 2001, he started playing the saxophone at the music school "Ferdo Livadić" in the class of prof. Goran Mercep. After the third grade of primary music school, he moved to the class of Prof. Tomislav Žužak, where he graduated from primary and secondary music school with excellent results.

In 2004, at the 42nd regional competition for music and dance students in Karlovac, he won the first prize. In the same year, at the 42nd national competition for music and dance students, he won II. award in the 1st category.

In 2006, at the 43rd regional competition for music and dance students in Samobor, he won the 1st prize. In the same year, he also won the 1st prize at the state competition in Varaždin in the 2nd category. In 2007, he won the 4th prize. prize in the 2nd category at the international Saksistra competition in Koper as the youngest participant of the competition.

In 2008, he won the first prize at the 46th regional competition in Sisak. In the same year, he also won the first prize at the state competition for music and dance students in Varaždin.

In 2009, he won the II. prize at the Lions Grand Prix international competition in Rijeka. In the same year, he also won the II. prize at the chamber music competition in Opatija with the SaKS quartet. In 2009, he also held two solo recitals organized by Matica Hrvatska and the Jastrebarsko music school.

In 2010, he won the 1st prize at the 47th regional competition for music and dance students in Bjelovar. In the same year, he won two first prizes at the competition in Varaždin and at the chamber music competition in Opatija with the SaKS quartet, where he also won an absolute victory in all categories. In 2010, he also performed as a soloist with the Symphony Wind Orchestra of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia, and as a member of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.

He is a participant in numerous seminars and music workshops of renowned saxophonists and singers such as Jean-Denis Michat, Kenneth Tse, Eugene Rousseau, Claude Delangle, Dubravka Krušelj Jurković, Mirela Brnetić, Jacques Houdek, etc... In his spare time, he regularly performs at Croatian pop/ rock/jazz club and singer-songwriter scene with various bands, and plays and sings in the Franciscan church ensemble of the Assumption of Mary in Samobor.

Since 2010, he has been a member of the singing class of prof. Dubravka Krušelj-Jurković

In 2016, he received his master's degree at the Academy of Music in Zagreb in the class of prof. Dragan Sremac. In 2017, he signed an exclusive contract with Croatia Records and released his first single "Tvoj je trag u meni", for which he signed the music and lyrics.
