Ema Štefančić Jašek was born in Zagreb in 1982.

Ivan Zajc (piano) finished elementary music school with prof. advisor Nenad Kačar.

Then attends II. gymnasium and music school "Functional music pedagogy" with prof. advisor Minja Kolak. In 2001, she studied musicology at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, where she graduated in 2006. in the class of prof. Ph.D. Nikše Gliga.
She twice received a scholarship from the City of Zagreb for her achievements during her studies.

During her studies, she worked as a producer of the Cantus Ensemble for contemporary music. Since 2006, he has been working at the elementary school "Zlatka Balokovića" in Zagreb, and at the "Elly Bašić" School of Music. Since 2009, he has been working as a professor of music history and theoretical subjects at "Zlatka Balokovića" Elementary School in Zagreb.
