Elena Konovalova Štefanić was born in Ukraine in 1962. In 1981, she became a teacher of theoretical subjects at the Tchaikovsky Music School in Russia. After arriving in Croatia, he enrolled in the study of musical culture at the Art Academy in Osijek. She graduated in 1994.

Since 1990, at the Music School "Ivan pl. Zajc" in Slavonski Brod works as a piano teacher, accompanist of the string department, and conductor of an older children's choir, with whom he has won numerous awards in Croatia and abroad:

1995 – 38th Croatian Youth Music Festival in Varaždin, gold plaque, 1st place
1996 – 39th Croatian Youth Music Festival in Varaždin, gold plaque, 1st place
1997 – 40th Croatian Youth Music Festival in Varaždin, silver plaque (gold plaque not awarded), 1st place
1998 – 36th Croatian Music and Dance Music and Dance Competition, Rijeka, gold plaque, 1st place (absolute winner of the entire competition)
1999 – 42nd Croatian Youth Music Festival in Varaždin, gold plaque, 1st place (absolute winner of the entire competition)
2000 – 43rd Musical Festival of Croatian Youth in Varaždin, Retrospective Concert (non-competition program)
2000 – the annual Štit Berislavić award of the city of Slavonski Brod for the field of musical culture

Since 2003, Elena Konovalova Štefanić has been employed at the "Zlatka Balokovića" School of Music in Zagreb, where she works as a professor of theoretical subjects and conductor of an older children's choir with which she successfully participates in national competitions. At the same time, she founded a high school girls' vocal ensemble.
