Igor Horvat was born in Zagreb. He studied classical guitar (majoring in instrumental pedagogy) at the "Universität fűr Musik und darstellende Kunst" in Graz, where he also obtained a master's degree in the mag.art class. Ortrud Posedu. In addition to classical guitar, he also perfects playing jazz guitar in Austria in the mag.art class. Martin Wiederhofer.
