Franjo Stojaković, prof.
Franjo Stojaković (Zagreb, 1985) after completing the science and mathematics high school and Zlatko Baloković's secondary music school, enrolled in clarinet studies at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, in the class of assistant professor. Davor Reba, and the following year a two-subject study of French language and literature and Ethnology and cultural anthropology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb.
As a scholarship holder of the City of Zagreb, he graduated from the Academy of Music in 2008 and obtained the status of a university bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Philosophy. In the same year, he was awarded a scholarship by the French government for postgraduate studies and was admitted to the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot in the class of prof. Guy Dangain. Arriving in Paris, he auditioned for the position of second clarinet player in the Orchester de la Cite Internationale Universitaire de Paris. The following year, he entered the Conservatoire de la Vallee de la Chevreuse, where he completed a cycle of artistic training in the class of prof. Sylvie Hue.
Returning to Croatia, he teaches clarinet at OGŠ Pakrac, and since 2013 at GŠ Zlatko Balokovića in Zagreb.
He collaborated with the Croatian Chamber Orchestra, the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, the Music Track ensemble, and the Poco Loco theater. He is also actively involved in jazz music, plays the tenor saxophone, and is a permanent member of several successful jazz and world music ensembles (Gadjo Manouche, Oridano Gipsy Swing Band, Drvored, Jastuk).
