Andrea Perić was born in Zagreb in 1974, where she finished the VII. gymnasium and primary and secondary music school "Functional music pedagogy". In 2000, she graduated from the Academy of Music in Zagreb, II. Department of Musicology. During her studies, in the academic year 1997/98, she was awarded a special rector's award for "Completion of the project of organizing and cataloging the music archive in Dubrovnik".

In the period from 1999 to 2003, she worked at the "Elly Bašić" Music School, where she taught theoretical subjects and worked in the library.

Since 2003, he has been working at the "Zlatka Balokovića" Music School, in the workplace of prof. of music history, edits and manages the music library and the phono library and teaches theoretical subjects.
She trained at Richard Frostick's seminar in Varaždin and participated in the Orff workshop in Zagreb.

He mainly bases his pedagogical work on a method that starts from the experience of musical phenomena towards awareness and knowledge. This form of work includes various methodical games, artistic and literary experiences of music and a creative approach in teaching.
