Barbara Bego-Bojić, Prof.

Born in 1967 in Zagreb where she finished primary and secondary music education.

She studied and graduated piano in the class of professor Mihail Petuhov at P. I. Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow. During studies in Moscow she was an active member of the Chamber ensemble for contemporary music “Reconsil” with which she performed on various Festivals of contemporary music in Europe such as: St. Poltzen, Vienna, the Music Biennale of Zagreb, Kiev, Moscow, Yaroslavl and others. As a soloist she played the “Concert for the piano” by Vladimir Tarnopolski, and the Sasha Filonenko's “Piano Fantasy”.

At the international music festival "Moskva Modern" in 1992, she performed with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra a piano concerto, work of the Austrian composer R. Freiberger.

Since 1995 she lives and works in Zagreb. She has held several recitals in Zagreb, Karlovac, Bjelovar, Samobor, Vinkovci, Hvar, Rab etc. She is also collaborating with smaller chamber ensembles and vocal and instrumental soloists. As a student she began to deal with methodology and pedagogical work assisting professor Manana Kandelaki at the seminars in Grožnjan.
